Ensuring access to music education for all our students
ORCHESTRA SPIRIT WEAR AVAILABLE!
At our students’ request, we have created orchestra hoodies and long-sleeve t shirts that are available for purchase. Both items can be customized with a name on the back. Please check out the link below if you are interested. This online store will be open until Wednesday, October 23rd.
Note: This is not a required purchase nor is it a fundraiser for the music department, it is just a fun way to show orchestra spirit. If your student would like an item but the cost is prohibitive, please contact Lindsey Dustin about a scholarship.
What is foresma?
FORESMA (Friends of Robert Eagle Staff Musical Arts) was formed to ensure access to music education for all interested RESMS students. This year there are almost 350 students enrolled in music programs— that’s about half the student body!
How can you help?
Attend a monthly meeting and lend your ideas and energy! Our next meeting is Monday, November 18, 7:00-8:30pm.
At our November meeting, we will be voting on a proposal to move forward with making our organization an independent 501c3. ALL who are interested in helping us make this a reality (especially if you have experience doing this) are welcome to attend and be part of this discussion.
Read our monthly newsletter and stay updated on music program activities and events. Want to get these sent to your inbox? Sign up here.
Volunteer! Check out our current volunteer opportunities and needs.
Attend an event and support our students. Check out our events calendar.
FORESMA’s Latest Communications:
From videotaping a concert to planning the big Silverwood trip in the spring, we welcome your help as a one-time gig (bake a batch of cookies?) or as an ongoing thing (be a band or orchestra concert coordinator?). See the volunteer page for details.
