John Aguilar

Mr. Aguilar is the Director of Bands and a Design Leadership Team (Music) member at Robert Eagle Staff Middle School. He is a graduate of the University of Washington, earning a BM in Music Education and a Washington State K-12 Music Teacher certificate.

While at UW, Mr. Aguilar was a member of the world-renowned University of Washington Husky Marching Band, serving as Drum Major for three years. He is now Drum Major Coach.

Mr. Aguilar also currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Seattle All-City Marching Band and is Associate Director of the Junior All-City Marching Band, as well as an active clinician for local high school marching bands.

Lindsey Dustin

Ms. Dustin has been teaching music in Seattle Public Schools since 2008, and is excited to join the Robert Eagle Staff team!

Ms. Dustin previously taught middle school orchestra and band at Broadview-Thompson K-8, as well as Elementary Instrumental Music at Cascadia Elementary and Licton Springs K-8.

A native of the Pacific Northwest, Ms. Dustin holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Puget Sound. Ms. Dustin is an active musician and plays flute with the Seattle Wind Symphony, and has enjoyed five summers teaching Junior Orchestra and Band at the Seattle Public Schools Summer Music Program.

When not teaching or performing music, Ms. Dustin spends her free time going on adventures with her children, Carmen and Leo, in their hometown of Edmonds.
